The Casitian Universe series is six novels in total. It starts with the first three, which is set in the 2010’s-2020’s. (making it, at this point, an alternate history, even though it wasn’t written to be.) The prequels start in 2800 BCE, and there is a prequel set in the 19th century during the civil war. The sequel is set eighty years after the events of the first three novels, starting in 2098.

Casitians Return

In The Casitians Return, life on Earth changes forever when aliens of human origin arrive with a startling new mandate, and the technology to enforce it.The aliens are here–and they are us. Story of New Earth

The Story of New Earth is Volume 2 of the Casitian Universe series. This novel takes off where “The Casitians Return” left off. Many human beings from Earth have settled on a new planet, called “New Earth.” This planet is large and verdant, and a wide variety of people have begun to make their home there. Follow the New Americans, led by Gerard, who failed in his attempt to gain the US Presidency during the “Casitian Crisis.” Leticia and Beatrice, Marianne’s neices, travel far and wide. Humans on Earth and on New Earth learn of a new danger that they must contend with. Marianne comes back to New Earth, humans are put on trial by the Galactic Community, and the Casitians must face the consequences of their actions.

Human Untied

“Humans Untied” is Volume 3 of the Casitian Universe Trilogy. This novel takes off where “The Story of New Earth” (Volume 2) left off.Things on Earth and New Earth are settling down, but then Terrans are faced with an almost insurmountable task, and are getting no help at first from the Casitians in pulling it off. In addition, things get hairy for humans all over the galaxy, as a new Edict from the Galactic Council means enormous changes in human life, all over the galaxy. Marianne and Ja’el reunite, and help the next generation, including Marianne’s neices, with a daunting task: preparing New Earth for massive immigration of Humans from Earth. And they all know that what happens may well determine history for 1000 years.

The Expedition

Casitians: A History

What happens when a group of humans from all across the world are abducted during the Bronze Age? Follow the story of a group of humans enslaved by an alien species on a new planet as they work for their masters and create a society forged by their enslavement.

This narrative spans the arc of original enslavement to emancipation 3000 years later, sparked by a random visit of a survey official to the star system where they are enslaved. The emancipation fractures their society in half, creating two different cultures.

This is a prequel to “The Casitians Return” telling the original history as it happened.

The Human Family

Eighty years have passed since the galactic community cut off humans and exiled them from Earth. Beatrice, brave member of the original Michaelson clan, one of the only Terrans to visit the Kinder home planet of Hilcyon, has finally died. As the now large and world-spanning family gathers to celebrate her life, cracks in the unity of their family, and the human community on Casiti and New Earth begin to show. They break wide open when a lone engineer on Hilcyon reaches out because the Kinder are about to all die of starvation.
